To celebrate the natural beauty and character of a landscape that has thrived since the days of the legendary whiskey find, 300 acres of Kilmarlic grounds have been designated a nature preserve. North Carolina’s Outer Banks are a sportsman’s paradise and a nature lover’s dream. Wild turkey, deer, otters and geese are frequently seen on the course. As word of mouth has maintained the legend of the whiskey-friendly locals, so to will this designation of land keep the spirit of this natural environment alive.
